Pivotal Scientific is a biotech consultancy with over 15 years of experience in the research reagent and IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic) market. We specialize in helping life science companies, from developing R&D roadmaps to facilitating international market entry.

Pivotal Scientific, therefore, provide a 1-hour consultation free of charge to discuss your project requirements prior to working with a consultant to ensure that your project is accurately and precisely define. This means the right external support is in place to ensure that your project meets its objectives.
Following this consultation, we will then facilitate introductions to the most suitable consultant who can deliver on your unique project. Our consultants boast a proven track record of swift and effective project delivery, excelling under tight timelines and can adapt to evolving client requirements.

After receiving your request to work with a consultant we can either introduce you directly to your chosen consultant or set up your 1-hour complementary call with Pivotal Scientific to discuss your project. After this call, conversations will then continue with your consultant and Pivotal Scientific will step back unless you have chosen to use one of our internal consultants.
What is the average time from submitting my request to working with my chosen consultant?
Pivotal Scientific recognize the fast pace of the life science market so you can expect a response from us within one working day of submitting your request.
Do I pay the consultant directly or through Pivotal Scientific?
You will receive an invoice directly from the consultant with whom you decide to work with. Pivotal Scientific does earn a commission payable by the consultant.
How can I request an introduction with a consultant?
After receiving a notification of your request we will arrange your free 1-hour consultation to discuss your project. Following this call, we will then introduce you to your chosen consultant. If your selected consultant is unavailable, we’ll suggest alternative times or other suitable consultants. The platform also includes anonymous consultants who work directly for Pivotal Scientific.
What if I need more than one consultant?
